Spend a day with us in the FOUND studio.

There is something deeply satisfying about making an object that will become part of your everyday life.

Our 10/10 rated workshops are an invitation to slow down, work with your hands, and experience the rhythms of the FOUND studio.

Join us for an exclusive workshop experience to make a vase or jug using traditional hand-building techniques. Each workshop welcomes a small group of up to 12 guests for a relaxed day of creativity, conversation and hospitality here at the FOUND studio in Harringworth, Northamptonshire.

You will work with stoneware clay with guidance from our in-house ceramicists. No previous experience is required. Whether you're discovering clay for the first time or returning to it after many years, you'll be guided through every stage of the process in a calm and supportive environment. Your day includes:

“If there was a spa retreat for pottery, this would be it.” Theresa

09:30 arrival with freshly made tea and coffee waiting for you, followed by a short studio tour.

10:00 demonstration and hands-on making of your vase or jug begins.

11:00 we briefly stop for elevenses - an opportunity to pause, enjoy tea, coffee and freshly baked cake.

12:45 we lay fresh table cloths and stop making to enjoy a seasonal lunch prepared by one of our favourite local producers.

13:45 we begin surface decoration, personalisation and finishing touches of your make, with time for photographs.

14:30 a brief explanation of the glazing and firing process and time for you to select from our exclusive FOUND glazes.

15:00 we conclude our day - you will leave your piece with us to slowly dry and over the following couple of weeks we will keep you informed when it is glazed, fired, and finally shipped out to you.

“Very enjoyable. I would seriously recommend it!” Frank
