Workshops.

Some objects are bought. Others become part of a story.

A day at our studio.

FOUND workshops offer an opportunity to spend time making by hand, exploring natural materials, and escaping the pace of everyday life.

Hosted at our studio on the border of Rutland and Northamptonshire, each workshop is designed around a single object, idea, or theme. From creating a bowl for a beloved dog, to a serving piece intended for years of shared meals, the focus is not on learning pottery, but on creating something meaningful.

Small groups allow time for conversation, demonstration, and individual guidance throughout the day. No previous experience is required.

The experience.

Guests are welcomed to the studio with speciality teas and coffee from Postcard Teas in London and locally made pastries before being introduced to the materials, tools, and processes that shape FOUND collections.

Through a combination of demonstrations and hands-on making, each participant will create their own object, guided through every stage of the process.

A seasonal lunch prepared by a local producer is served during the day, offering time to gather, share ideas, and enjoy the surroundings.

Once complete, pieces are carefully dried, fired, glazed, and finished by the studio before being carefully packed and delivered to their new home.

Details.

Workshops are hosted throughout the year from the FOUND studio in Harringworth, Northamptonshire for a maximum of 8 guests.

Locally handmade lunch and refreshments are included.

Finished pieces are glazed and delivered following the final firing within 3 weeks. No previous experience required.

To be notified of future workshop dates, join our mailing list or contact the studio.
